GRANTS ADMINISTRATION

  • Match citywide needs with resources 
  • Help identify city projects that can be funded with federal, state and private dollars 
  • Work with city departments to develop project ideas into eligible, fundable activities 
  • Provide grant opportunity information to city departments 
  • Act as a liaison between federal and state agencies and various citywide departments and non-profits 
  • Maintain a database of all grant applications made by the city 
  • Organize collaborative grant writing projects with non-profit agencies where appropriate 
  • Provide grant writing and technical assistance 
  • Follow up with agencies regarding grant applications for the city 
  • Increase grant funding coming into the city of Waterbury 
  • Meet with non-profits and citywide departments regularly
